TWO PUBLIC BEQUESTS

Two ptiblic bequests, each of £100, ara provided for under the will of a widow, Mrs. Mary Simpson, who died at Opotiki 011 January 13 and whose e«tate has been valued for probate purposes at under £5.100.

One of the bequests is to go to the Opotiki Presbyterian Church and the other to the assistance of needy returned soldiers living in Opotiki borough or county. Any part of the fund remaining at the end of 10 years is to be handed over to the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Belief Association.
