TRAINING COLLEGES.
ENTRANCE DATE ALTERED.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. Under a training college regulations amendment issued with the Gazette, applications from those desiring to enter treachers' training colleges will be received on October 1 instead of November 1. This will allow additional time before Christmas for consideration of the applications, and will enable students to be notified as early as possible which training college they will enter.
The amended regulations also deal with the qualifications for admission and will allow applicants sitting for the training college entrance examination in November to apply for admission in anticipation of the results of that examination.
