QUEEN CARNIVAL.
OTAHUHU CARD EVENING. Tne supporters of Miss Leonore Dudley, the Civil Service queen, in the Otahuhu Catholic Queen Carnival, held A highly eucceseftil card evening in the Otahnhu Public Hall. Lucky number competitions were won by Mrs. J. Lynch and Mr. J. C'Toole. In the card competitions Mrs. J. Lynch was the winner in the Indie*' section, Mrs. J. E. Gillies being awarded second prize. In the gentlemen's section Mr. H. Turner won the first prize, Mr. J. OToole being runner-up. Among thofle present were: Mesdames W. O'Connell. B. McCowatt, Gordon. White, P. J. McKernon, Jude, J. White, .7. Goodwin, Eustace, H. Turner, J. E. Gillies, Loader, Hayden. D. Nobbs, J. Lynch, Watson, L. Buckley, B. Trezfee, C. Grant, M. Doyle, J. McAniilty, W. Baxter, W. Lockhart and J. Aynes and Misses D. Lockhart, L. Dudley, E. Holloway, M. Holloway and McMahon (Waihi).
