MAN AND GIRL HURT.

CAR AND TRAIN COIXIDE. (From Our Correspondent.) PALMERSTON X., Thursday. A miraculous escape from serious injury was experienced by two occupants of a car when they were involved in a collision with a goods train enaine at a crossing at Linton late last night. The car. which was wrecked, was driven by Mr. Ernest Hore, of Palmeraton North, who suffered shock, slight concussion and an injured wrist. He was accompanied by Thelma Voss, aged 14, of Palmerston North, who suffered a broken nose and lacerated face. Both were taken to hospital and their condition is reported to b* not serious.
