SUDETEN PARTY LEADER WARRANT FOR HIGH TREASON (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, this day. The British United Press correspondent at Prague reported at 1.15 a.m. that it was officially announced that the Czech Government had decided to put a question to a commission of legal experts as to whether Herr Henlein's proclamation constitutes high treason.
The Czech paper suggests that Herr Henlefn may be arrested. Reuter learns from a Czech official source at London this morning that no warrant had been issued for Herr Henlein's arrest. He is stated to be at present in Bavaria. Another report says it is officially announced that the ! Czechs are taking action against the Henlein proclamation The ' form of the action is not announced, but the matter has been placed in the hands of competent State authorities." An increasing stream of refugees is pouring in from Sudeten areas. They are mostly German Social Democrats, women children and aged sick. It is estimated that 3000 refugees are under the care of the Red Cross and charity organisations.
