"There is no one who has done eo much for the blind as Sir Clutha Mackenzie, and it is with the deepest regret that I hear of hi* reeignation. I feel that everyone owes him a debt of gratitude," sa'id Mr. Henry Holland at a social jyatherlng of the blind held in the Council Chambers under the auspices of the Pearson Memorial Fund. Mr. Holland eakl he was sure that there was no one who would have stood the triale and persecutions to which Sir Clutha Mack«H»* had been subject for the last 10 yean, and not resigned long before. It was decided to write to Sir Clutha, thanking him lor ell he had done for the blind.
