, PICTURESQUE BALLETS.
More dazzling and exotic even than the previous creations, are the costumes and settings in the second edition of the Hollywood Hotel" Revue. Exquisite in design and colouring the costumes * x a krilhant note in spectacular effect, setting off to perfection the lovely show girls and the dashing ballet troupe. 0
jPI InUßt the •Hollywood Wedding," with its artistic presentation and glamorous accessories Gleaming ivory satin in bouffant style, composed the beautifully-cut bridal gown. A,.charming BC ene was presented by the bevy of bridesmaids in their ankle-length frocks of white silk organdie. The skirts were ornamented with deep flounces defined at the hips with wide gold satin ribbon, threaded through Early cambric embroiderv, and circlets of white field daisies. Drooping crinoline picture hats held a cluster of the same-flowers.
An outstanding number was the CanCan dance, in which the girls wore princess frocks of turquoise blue taffeta, ruched with rose pink lace and lined to the waist with frills of cambric embroidery. The old-fashioned poke bonnets were trimmed with blue and pink plumes.
Nothing more beautiful has been seen than the Mystic Fan Tableau, in which the ballet manipulated huge white ostrich feather fans in alluring evolutions. 0
