WOODERSON IN PARIS.
LOVELOCK'S RECORD STANDS. (Received 2 p.m.) PARIS, September 5. In the European championships S. C. Wooderson won the 1500 metres in 3.53 3-5. This was several seconds slower than J. E. Lovelock's world record of 3.47 4-5 (established at the Berlin Olympiad in 1936), which it was believed Wooderson was . ttempting to beat.
