WANGANUI FINALS. GAY SON AND SILVER JWBILEE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGANUI, thk day. The weather was fine this morning for tbe final gallops for the Wanganci spring meeting. No. 1 grass track was used for fast work, and the going was in good order. Before Breakfast Three Debutante Stakes candidates, Authoress (S. Edwards), Submission (R. McTavish) and Portal (F. Latham) ran half a mile. Submission and Authoress were together in front in 50 4-ss. The Guineas candidates Rehearsal (McTavish) and Minga (Latham) covered six furlongs in 1.17 4-5. Minga was going freely. Hunter's Eve covered half a mile by herself in 49 4-ss. She was wide out. Captain TreviJle beat Maiwai over half a mile in 525, Morning' Flight and Proclamation taking 51 l-ss. Master Cyklon went a mile, the last six furlongs comfortably in 1.18. Darthusa, All Bunsby and March Easy finished in that order at the end of naif a mile in 51 4-ss. Red Rufus jumped four hurdles, screwing badly at each obstacle. Jazz Boy and Mesurina ran five furlongs in 1.4 3-5, going well within themselves. Enrotas did a couple of rounds of pace work. After the interval Homily (P. Atkins) went six furlongs' in 1.18 3-5, without being ridden out. Tres Sec (Forsyth), Begorrah (W. Broughton) and Coronation (Atkins) were companions over six furlongs, the first-named pair finishing two lengths ahead of Coronation in 1.18 3-5. Gay Son (Broughton) and Francis Drake (Atkins) ran five furlongs in 1.2 3-5, the former being a length in front. Amigo did three-quarter pace work. Tableau (Broughton) had a shade the better of Kobi (Atkinsl at the end of three furlongs in 37 3-se. Patches (Broughton), Amatory (Chote) and Night Attack (Callahan) were associated over five furlongs. Amatory finishing a neck ahead of Patches in 1.3 4-5. Golden Pam did three-quarter pace work. Sir Robin ran three furlongs in 30 2-ss, and Silver Jubilee five in 1.2 3-5. First Chapter did half pace work. '
