FLATS.

I -would like to back up "Returned Soldier's" statement concerning flats. I have been trying to find a decent flat for the past twelve months. Every night I have been in every suburb in Auckland. Half of them are, as stated by '"Returned Soldior. ? ' not fit for animals, ami in the other half the rents are too liirrli for any working man to pay. There is only my husband and me. and all wo want are two deoent rooms and a kitchenette; but I have come to the conclusion it is a waste of benzine running totiikl and will have to carry on putting up with inconveniences. I, too, strongly think it is -time something was <lone. RETURNED SOLDIER'S WIFE.
