WEATHER FORECAST.
rOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist (•sued to the "Auckland BUr" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Tauranga and Kawhia:— Light to moderate southerly winds, later becoming variable. Weather fine! Moderate day, but cold night temperatures. Seas slight. An anti-cyclone of moderate intensity extends from the north-west Tasman Sea across the South Island and is moving slowly eastward. Pressure has fallen considerably over south-eastern Australia. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Haurakt 6u7f w£ received frcn Tiritiri Island at noon to-day :— Wind, north, light; sea. smoothweather, fln.
