The Government Meteorologist (•sued to the "Auckland BUr" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Tauranga and Kawhia:— Light to moderate southerly winds, later becoming variable. Weather fine! Moderate day, but cold night temperatures. Seas slight. An anti-cyclone of moderate intensity extends from the north-west Tasman Sea across the South Island and is moving slowly eastward. Pressure has fallen considerably over south-eastern Australia. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Haurakt 6u7f w£ received frcn Tiritiri Island at noon to-day :— Wind, north, light; sea. smoothweather, fln.
