LABOUR PARTY.

GLEN EDEN.

The Glen Eden Women's Labour Division held its fortnightly meeting in the Anglican Hall. The president, Mrs. R. Brown, presided. An address was given by Mrs. Lovegrove on the subject of "Maternity Benefits." Two delegates to the suburbs advisory committee were appointed. They were Mrs. Browning and Mrs. Dracevich. Vocal items were rendered by Mrs. Roper, and afternoon tea was served by the committee.

MOUNT ALBERT BRANCH.

Mrs. F. Martin presided over an excellent attendance of members and friends of the Mount Albert women's group of the New Zealand Labour party, held at the residence of Mrs. Ireland, 17, Alexander Avenue. Mrs. Ireland has very kindly put her home at the disposal of the group. A Junior League has been

formed with Mr. O'Neil as ojganieer. Several items of interest were opened for discussion.
