ENJOYABLE PROGRAMME.
Mr. Llew S. Piper was the chairman for the Philistine Club's gathering held in the Operatic Society's rooms, Grafton Road, on Saturday night. An excellent programme was rendered, comprising a solo dance by Mrs. Alfred Holt; Mr. Leo Foster, songs; Miss Frances Cole, elocution items; Mr. Hal C. McLennan, flute numbers; Miss Connie Piper, songs; Miss Anita Webster, character study. The accompanists were Mrs. Reginald Reed and Mr. Potter. Dancing and supper concluded the entertainment.
