Lewisham, occupied the chair, and among the visitors were: Professor Bennett (Halifax)* Dr. J. McNeil (Chicago), Messrs. Harry Holmes (New York), W. J. Sparrow (Ashburtott), B. H. Lawn, W. P. Walker, G. B. Milne, Blr Chas. Norwood (Wellington) ,W. 8. McLean- (Palmeriton North), W. W. Thomson (New Plymouth), L. J. Taylor (Chrietchurch), and W. Fraeer (Hamilton). The president stated thai next Monday's gathering wotrid b* held 1 m the evening *ith a view to providing the district governor, Mr. O. W. Hutchison, V:*h an opportunity to furnieh a report on the International Rotary Convention held in San Francisco. One of the vieitore, Dr. McNeil, of Chicago, contributed musical items ofl the piano, one being a representation of cathedral chimes. The speaker of the day was Dr. Ralph S. HarloW, Ph; D -» A Profeeeor of Religious and Biblical Literature at Smith's University, Mass., who spoke on the subject of Amerttan problems. The vote of thanks was r moved by Rotarian J. A. C. Alluau
