DECORATED NOTEPAPER.

You can decorate your notepaper with real leaf prints very prettily in this way.

Collect a number of rather perfect leaves from almost any plant. Fern leaves or clover are very attractive. Poor a little methylated spirits (not the coloured sort) into a saucer and then put the leaves in, allowing them to soak for four or five minuted.

Now put out a sheet of note paper you wish to decorate. Two or three in the corner look very nice. Lift the leaves up from the spirit and allow them to drain a little and then rest them carefully on the paper where you want the print. Now cover with a piece of blotting paper and rub your fingers over it. When you lift up the blotting paper you will find the print of the leaves in a nice bright green.
