WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Isaued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton. Tauranga and Kawhia:— Moderate to strong south-easterly winds. Weather for the most part fair to cloudy and cool, but scattered showers are etill probable. Seas rather rough to rough. Though there has been comparatively little change of pressure over New Zealand, the depression csntred near Auckland yesterday has moved eastward. The anti-cyclone to the west has passed the Auetralisn coast and should be over the Dominion to-morrow. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east-south-east, moderate; sea, moderate; weather, cloudy and showery; visibility, moderate; barometer, steady.
