REVUE SEASON.
HOLLYWOOD HOTEL ' COMPANY
With a brilliant ballet of 16 beautiful girl?, lavish settings and t-ome excellent specialty acts, "Hollywood Hotel" revue is playing regularly to full houses at His Majesty's Theatre. The ballet kin .1 class above most of those seen Uere befu: e and is seen in some most attractive items, perhaps the most spectacular and effective b®ing the '"Three Musketeers" scene, when their colourful costumes and flashing rapiers make a gol-geous sight. The ta'i. stately show girls form beautiful living backgrounds to many of the soenes. The costumes, or rather the lack of them, worn by these girk are rather novel to Aucklanders, but the artistry with which the settings are arianged prevents any suggestion of offeiisiveneas. Comedians Wil!: * and Eugene Howard have the audience ;n paroxysms of laughter at times, while the dry-tongued Marty May. with his smooth patter, helps preserve the continuity the show. The outstanding individv,.ii items are presented by Park and Cliffor ). in their wonderful head and hand balan. - ing act, and the eight coloured "8.Apple" dancers, who frive a cyclonic exhibition of the latest dance craze.
