Mr. A. R. Phillips left for the south by last evening's Limited express. Mr. C. W. Heather will leave by the Monterey to-night on a visit to Australia. The Hon. Mr. Harvey Turner was a passenger from Ohakune by train this hU return from a visit to Wellington. Sir Apirana Xgata. M.P. for Eastern Maori, was a passenger bv the Limited express from Wellington "this morning. Major-General J. E. Duigan, Chief of the General Staff, will leave on his return south by the early express this afternoon. Mr. F. W. Bass, accompanied bv his wife, are leaving for a tour of the South land prior to their departure for England. Mr. A.
