j TO-MORROW AFTERNOON. eulogy by archbishop. Expected to synchronise • with the sen ice in Christchurch, a memorial service to the late Archbishop Julius is to be held in St. Mary's Cathedral Church, Parnell, at three o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The service will be conducted by Archbishop Averill, Primate of New Zealand.
The death of Archbishop Julius left a very real blank in the whole of New Zealand, said Archbishop Averill to-day. He was an institution in himself, and his wonderful service to the Church and humanity was not likely to be forgotten by the present generation.
Archbishop Julius' interests had not been confined to the past. He was intensely interested in the present, and particularly in the welfare of the young. His passing had removed from the ranks of the Church Militant a man of unique personality, remarkable gifts and most lovable disposition.
