DEATH AT 91.
ARCHBISHOP JULIUS. CHURCH LEADER PASSES. NOTED CHRIST CHURCH FIGURE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. The death occurred to-night of Archbishop Julius at his home in Macmillan Avenue, Cashmere Hills. He was 91 years of age. Archbishop Julius was for three years Primate of New Zealand and for 36 years Bishop of Christehurch. The funeral of the archbishop will take place on Saturday afternoon. The body will be brought to-morrow to the Cathedral to lie there until the service the following day. A watch will be kept by sisters of the Community of the Sacred Name, which was established in Christcliurch many years ago by the archbishop, who brought out Mother Edith as its first Mother Superior. The interment will be made at the Linwood Cemetery.
