NEW RAILWAY LINES.
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, thie day. The Government's intentions in connection with railway lines in the Auckland province are outlined in the statement. It is stated that work on the Dargaville branch railway has continued during the year. Further surveys had Veen made of the best route to Darpavillc, and it was decided to adopt a line running around the back of the town so as to eliminate all level crossings and give a bettor site for the railway station twenty chains from the poet office.
