Xo sonrin? movements resulted from bark play, each set being apparentlv to oppn out. The attendance totalled 22,000, a record for a Wednesday match. P. Reid, first five-eighth for Hawke's Bay, suffered concussion five minutes after the game commenced and was removed to hospital.
