LADIES' NIGHT.

ONEHUNGA ORPHANS.

Flags, streamers and leafy palms decorated the Foresters' Theatre Onehiinga, last evening on the occasion of the annual ladies' night in connection with the Onehunga Orphans' Club.

The function attracted a gathering of approximately 600 members and visitors who were received by the president, Mr. E. Marks. Enjoyable was the programme of vocal, orchestral and elocutionary numbers, conducted by the Orphans , Orchestra under the baton of Mr. H. Engel. At the conclusion of the musical programme the hall was cleared for dancing.
