FANCY DRESS.
CHURCH FUNDS HELPED.
St. Jude's parish Hall presented a very gay and festive appearance on the occasion of a children's fancy drees party. Prizes were won by the following:— Sixteenth century page boy, I. Hollier; spring chicken, Margaret Henshall; Santa Claus, G. Talmadge; Powder Puff, M. Talmadge; Sabu, G. Button; patriotic Souvenir hunter, C. Bish; Little Mies Muffet, Marie Hollier; scarecrow, K. Marsden, Pan-American Airways, Nancy Hammerick; Why did I kiss that girl, Barrie Buckton; Hawaiian, Mavis Bulton; deserted bride, Nancy Roper; Gipsy girl, Marcia Buckton; costers, D. and R. Stenning; Two little girls in blue, Shirley Knight and Fay Wheaton. "Neddo" and Mr. Kecfe acted as judges. The proceeds' of the evening were in aid of church funds.
