NO INTERFERENCE.
PUBLIC SERVANTS' FUNDS. MINISTER GIVES REASSURANCE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. "There ie certainly no thought in my mind that public servants' superannuation funds will be interferred with," remarked the Minister of Finance, Mr. Nash, when he was asked in the House of Representatives last night whether it was ultimately intended to merge these funds into the social security scheme. Mr. Nash explained that the Prime Minister had made a statement that public servants would be no worse off, and there was universal superannuation available, which involved no income test. 'The Government," he added. "has in mind in connection with public service funds to reorganise them so far as they can next year in»order to remove some of the anomalies."
