DIVORCE DECREE.

APPLICATION GRANTED. WIFE WRITES FROM IRELAND. Judgment was given in the Supreme Court to-day by Mr. Justice Fair in a petition by Conrad Lewis Beazley (Mr. Norris) for divorce from his wife, Xaney Beazley, on the grounds of desertion. Evidence had been given as to the wife's eudden departure from home in Auckland after ehe had been retuonetrated with about flighty conduct and it wae stated that ehe had been located later in Ireland, whence she had written. The hearing had been adjourned pending the submission by petitioner of further documentary evidence explaining a reference in the wife's letter to a probable reconciliation. His Honor to-day said he wae satisfied by the petitioner's evidence that the wife had deserted the latter in the year 1933 and had been absent continuously from her home since then. A decree nisi wae granted, to be made absolute at the expiration of three months. j
