SOLD AT AUCTION. NEW BENDIGO 3HNK. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNBDIN, this day. The New Bendiso gold mine, which in the seventies and eighties produced over eight hundred thousand pounds worth of gojd was auctioned yesterday for £340. Only five years ngo the company acquired rigjrts over this hundred acre area, but fortune was unfavourable. YIELDS OF COMPANIES. Mataki .Dredsring (Murchison). — ended August 14, a total of 260 i from 8100 yds in 129 licurt". Mataki Junction (Mnrchlson>. —For fortnight ended August 11 a totkl of smelted gold from 12,000 yds in 103 hours. Owing to a shortage of water due to a freeze-up in the river tributaries seven wnrkinjr days were lost. Worksop Extended (West Coast). —4Soz from 13,000 yds iii 152 hours. Neniona (Reefton). —38oz for 130 houre and 15,000 yds.
