The Federal Line motor ship Essex sailed at seven o'clock this morning for Southampton and London with general cargo. She is going via Cape Horn, and ie due at Southampton on September 17. The Huddart-Parker motor ship Wangan'ella will arrive at 7 a.m. to-morrow from Melbourne and Sydney with 171 passengers and general cargo. She berths at Central wharf and eails for Sydney only at noon on Saturday with about 130 passengers. The Yamashita Kisen Kaisha Line steamer Naniwa Mara arrived early thia morning from Japanese ports, Noumea and Walpole Island with general cargo. She berthed at Prince's wharf to discharge and load and will leave for Wellington at noon to-morrow. She ie due at Dunedin on August 22, sailing from Lyttelton on August 24 on her return to Japan. The Union Company's passenger liner Maunganui, which left Suva at 6 p.m. on Saturday on the concluding stage of her second leland cruise, will arrive at 7 a.m. to-morrow and berth at the Queen's wharf. She sails at 8 p.m. for Wellington and leaves that port at 6 p.m. on Friday for Sydney, taking the Awatea's running in the intercolonial service. Opawa completed discharging Liverpool cargo and left at 10 p.m. yesterday for Napier and Wellington. (N.Z.S. Co.) South Africa, Norwegian tanker, arrived from Richmond, California, this morning and berthed at Western wharf to discharge petroL (V.0., Co.) Trelawny advises that she will arrive on Thursday afternoon from New York with general cargo for main ports. (N.Z.S. Co.)
