MILK VENDOR FINED. (Prom Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Monday. When he appeared before Mr. W. H. Freeman, S.M., in the Pukekohe Court to-day, a milk vendor, Frederick Baker, of Pukekohe, was charged with selling milk with five per cent added water at Pukekohe on May 31, and also with selling milk which did not comply with the prescribed standard. On the first charge, defendant was convicted and fined £5 and costs 10/, while on the second he was convicted and ordered to pay cost*, £1 0/6.
