Mr. F. N. Ambler said that the reported comment waa tantamount to a suggested boycott against New ZealandjTttade Vi goodi; section worked against another section it could only be deplored. There should 4>e no attempt to drive a wedge between town and country, and loose talk; could only; have; a prejudicial effect. No manufactured article in New Zealand was highly proend the manufacturers had done nothing to raise costs to the. farming community. The farmers had no reason to ery about protection when they had subsidies and a guaranteed price.
