DANCE AND CARD TOURNAMENT,
The Daisy Chain Olub danoee held in the Patrician rooms are noted for their gaiety, sociability and excellent music, and the third function of the season held recently wae no exception. The, arrangement*! ran smoothly under the management of Mr. Ernie Barfoot, master of ceremonies, and the ladies of the social committee, which comprised Mesdamee Barfoot, Drylautier, G. Orrell and McKinnon. Mrs. Ivy Dye played excellent dance mueic, with Mr. Don Robertson at the drums, Mr. Hudson playing the extra supper waltz. A novelty prize was won by Mr. F. Tiernev, and the winners of the Monte Carlo and novelty waltz were Mr. and Mrs. F. Wright, and Mrs. Johneton and Mr. Grocott. The 500 card tournament winners were Mrs. Carter and Miss Studman.
