MINERS' DISPUTE.
RETURN TO WORK. MEETINGS THIS AFTERNOON. OTHER BONES AFFECTED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HUNTLY, thie day. Pending a satisfactory settlement of the dispute concerning the miners' claim to timber draining in the Pukemiro mine, which was idle yesterday, work was resumed at the mine this morning. A meeting was held this morning at the Pukemiro mine prior to the commencement of work, when the position was placed before the men, who were advised to return to work % pending a settlement. Meetings will be held thie afternoon at the various other mines in the district, and the result of these meetings will be made known later to men at Pukemiro.
