NOTICES SENT OUT.
TERMINATION OF SERVICES.
Following the decision made at the last meeting of the Auckland City Coun* cil to discontinue the activities of the Municipal Band as at present constituted, notices of the decision have been sent out to the bandmaster, Mr. T. J. O'Connor, end the 33 members.
A special sub-committee of the council will report on the reorganisation of the band as a voluntary brase band on a limited subsidy, basis. 'Last year £2395 was spent by the council on the band, and thie financial.year £2200 was placed on the estimates. *
