MARATHON WALK.
Man Hiking to Japan for Olympic Games. DISAPPOINTED AT CHANGE. (Received 2 p.m.) CAIRO, August 1. The change in the venue of the 1940 Olympic Games has caused disappointment to Fritz Steinghez. who set out in February. 1937, to walk to Japan from Switzerland to participate. He hiked through France and Italy, walking 12 hours daily, then boarded a ship for Egypt and is now walking back to Switzerland across Central Europe. He has not made up his mind whether he will walk to Helsingfore.
