WRESTLING.
DETTON BEATS MEEHAN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. In a bout marked by much clever wrestling. Detton defeated Meehan by one fall obtained with a jack-knife hold in the sixth round at the Wellington Town Hall to-night. In a second professional bout Anton Koolman. of Wellington, beat Eddie Morley. of Wairarapa, by a fall in the last round.
