LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.

Epsom.—The annual business meeting of the Epsom branch of the League of Mothers was held in the Baptist Hall, Inverness Avenue. The election of officers was as follows:—President, Mrs. G. A. Hardley; vice-presidents, Mesdamea Elliffe, Wells and Pilcher; secretary, Mrs. J. McKinlay; treasurer, Mrs. Driver. An interesting talk was given by Miss Knight on "Robert Schumann." Items illustrating the composer's music were given by Miss Knight (piano) and Mesdames McGregor and- Wentworth (soTisrs). A visit was also paid to the branch by Mrs. S. O. English, the provinrial president. Mount Roskill.—The annual meeting of the Mount Roskill branch was held recently in St. Margaret's hall. The election of officers for the coming year was as follows: —President, Mrs. Giles; vice-presidente, Mesdames Cullen and Hill; secretary, Mrs. Irvine; treasurer, Mrs. Scarlett; eommittee, Mesdameß, Lee, Brand. Kinloch, Milford, Menzies, Hampton and Hadfield.
