CHURCH MEETING.
ST. ENOCH'S, MORHIHGSIDE The annual meeting of St. Enoch'i Church, Morningside, -was held this week The finances of the church were con sidered satisfactory. The income for th< year was £321, plus £30 collected bi the ladies' guild. A sum of £40 had beei contributed to the Assembly's budget, am other schemes of the church, and £50 hat been paid off the debt on the church b' the guild. The year closed with £19 ii the church treasurer's hands, and £32 ii the guild treasurer's hands. The following were elected as manager for the year: Misses Amoore and Irwin Mrs. Carr. Messrs. A. Sims, J. Langfor< and R. McLachlan. These were dedi cated to the office by the chairman, tb Rev. •G. W. Blair. Attendances a church services had been satisfactory, bu there had been a falling off in the nuni bers of both teachers and scholars in tb Sunday school, it was stated.
