AFFAIRS OF THE REFEREES. ] iAt the meeting of the Auckland Rugby' League Referees' Association last evening; Mr. L. E. Bull presiding, a notice of motion proposing the addition of the. word "grading" in the minutes , of April 4, relating to the election of; two members to the examination committee, -was ruled out of order. The chairman said that, according to the constitution, the examination committee was not also a grading committee. In view of the inability of Mr. A. iFarrell to referee the match between Mount Albert and Bay of Plenty at Rotorua, the nomination of Mr. P. Rogers was endorsed by the executive tad aaaoi eiation.
