PAYNTER LEADS THE FIELD. BRADMAN HEADS AUSTRALIA. The Test batting honours to date are held by E. Paynter, the Lancashire left-hander, with an average of 135.66. He is followed by D. G. Bradman, the Australian captain, with an average of 108.5.
