The Northern Walroa Military Boxing Association fcel4 a successful amateur tourney at Dargaville on Saturday night. Results :— Middle-weight.—E. Banlcevich (Dargaville) beat E. Garea (Whangarei) on points. Lightweight.—Brown (.Auckland) beat Smith (Auckland) on points. Light-heavy-weight.—S. Butler (Dargaville) beat Farrell (Whangarei) on points. Catch-weight.—Dreaver (Auckland) beat Parker (Whangarei) on points. Bantam-weight.— J. Caunavan (Dargaville) beat S. Stock (Auckland) on points after a closely-contested bout. Catch-weight.—A. Erceg (Dargaville) beat Rae (Auckland) by a technical knockout in the third round. Thomson (Auckland) beat D. Meyers (Dargaville) on points in a good contest. Light-weight.—K. Moran (Dargaville) beat Alach (Whangarei) on points. Middle-weight.—P. Hare (Dargaville) beat L. Banicevich (Dargaville) on points. Hare, a Maori lad, was easily the most scientific boxer in the tourney. Feather-weight.—W. Phelan (Dargarille) beat S. Black (Auckland) on points. Middle-weight.—fl. Salle (Whangarei) beat P. Richards (Dargaville) on points. Welter-weight.—Barfoot (Auckland) beat Turvey (Auckland) on points. Welter-weight.—L,. Painter (Whangarei) drew with F. Woods (Auckland).
