When Auckland Grammar met Takapuna at the Auckland Ornmmar around in Mountain Koad, it wtis a ragged game, which Grammar won by 17 points to 0. At halt-back Grammar was well served by Kidd. a newcomer to the side, who scored a try mid engineered another. Davenport scored thin.
