Mr. John Seymund Ammundeen, aged 56, an employee of the Matamata County, Council, was found dead on the Peria Road this morning. He had apparently commenced his work and expired suddenly. .Mr. Ammundsen was one of the foremost gun shooters of the province, and was a winner of "the Auckland Provincial Gun Club* championship, besides numerous other important events.
