WOX BY CANTERBURY STUDENT. r Awarded annually to one student in [' New Zealand for research work in conj nection with the Master of Science ■ degree, the 180 l Exhibition Science s Scholarship was won by a 21-year-old - Canterbury Universky College graduate 3 this year, Mr. K. F. Daly. ; The scholarship, which was founded : following the British Exhibition of 1851, '; applies not only to New Zealand j I students, but to thoee selected in any of j j the Dominions or Great Britain. The s award k based on €he research work ? done by the student in connection with - his M.Sc. degree, and enables the euc- '• ceesful student to attend any university '" that he wishes, £275 a year being y granted out of the fund. r, Mr. Daly, who was educated at the - Christchurch Boye' High School, during '- his scholastic career showed great !? j promise, and now, at the age of 21 ] j years, he has qualified for his M.Sc. . I degree and gained the coveted scholari [ship. s Leaving high school at the end of 1933, . r he attended Canterbury University Colg lege, where he took the science course!
