LONDON WOOL SALES. CONTINENTAL COMPETITION. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 15. At the London wool sales to-day hales were offered, including 2188 of New Zealand wool. A total'of 7547 bales was sold. There was a good selection and stronger :ompetition, owini? to improved Continental demand for Merinos. Late lutes were firmly maintained. PRIVATE CABLES. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office under date of July 15: — "The sales continue with the market fully firm and competition well maintained. Current quotations: New Zealand greasy Merino*, super, 60 r 64"s 14d to HVfcd per 11).. ordinary. 60 64s 12d to 1.3d. inferior 60'64's 9V6d to 10d: greasy half-bred*. 56/pß'« 12d to 12% d, 56"s IVAd to 12d. nO/Mi's 10% d to ll%d: crosehreds, 50's 10y*d to lOMmI. 48'50's 10d to 10% d, 46/48'e 9%<\ to lOd. 44'46'e 9%cl to 10d. 40/44'e 9%d to 10d. 36/40's 9%d to 10d. All good average condition."
