MICHIGAN TRAGEDY.
Several People Drowned by Huge Waves.
TERROR ON LAKESIDE. NEW YORK, July 14. At least live persons were drowned and an undetermined number were injured at Holland, Michigan, when a series of huge waves described as being from eight to ten feet high swept in over the beaches from Lake Michigan.
Terrified people on the beaches screamed and ran. Several fishermen were swept from the piers, and coastguards rescued them. The dead included two women.
