NIGHT MEETINGS.
HOSPITAL BOARD BUSINESS.
TWO TO BE HELD EACH MONTH.
The Auckland Hospital Board will in future hold its ordinary meetings at night, on the second and fourth Mondays of eachf-jnonth. ,
The chairman of the board, Mr. Allan J. Moody, , eaid to-day that he intended to ask ihf members to consider the abolition of board-in-committee meetings, such as have been held in the past. He coneidered^that) with the board holding two meetings a month they could more expeditiously deal with the business and give more satiefaction in every" way. The board will etill have the right to go into committee to discuss any particular matter, and, ip addition, the chairman, or five members by requisition, could have a special meeting called.
Mr. Moody added that hie wish was to keep the public in close touch with the Activities of the hospital.
