OBITUARY.

MR. CONWAY SINCLAIKE. Mr. Con way Sinclaire. who was killed when the lorry on which he was riding skidded into a power pole on the Hobsonville Road on Tuesday, was a mining engineer, who for some years had extensive contracts for tunnelling in and around Auckland. Greatly interested in mining, Mr. Sinclaire always maintained that there was still plenty of gold in the Thames and Coromandel districts. He was a descendant of one of. the oldest families in Belfast, Ireland.
