WHEELS LEAVE RAILS.
NO DAMAGE TO WAGON. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Thursday The express which left Invercargill at 7 a.m. for Lyttelton wag. delayed an hour and 35 minutes at Invercargill today owing to the derailment .of one wiagon of a meat train near the cemetery crossing, about a mile on the Invercargill side of Mill Road. -The meat wagon did not capsize, the wheels leaving the rails and continuing along the the permanent way. The wagon was near the end of the train, which was travelling fairly slowly at the time. No damage was done to the wagon.or the track. The mishap occurred on a slight bend. The delay in the departure of the express did not interfere to any extent with other train, services.
