WOUND IN FOREHEAD.
SPORTSMAN FOUND DEAD.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Thursday. A fanner, Mr. William John McLaren, aged 3.», married, of Waimatuku, was found dead in a wasnhouse at his home with a bullet wound in the forehead. There, was a rifle found beside the body. Mr. McLaren was a well-known sportsman. He raced the horses Paesaform and Tnraki and competed regularly in jumping events at agricultural shows in Otago and Southland.
