(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAXCAXI'I. this day. Both side* arc confident for the second i Test to be played between the Xew Zealand and English ladies' teams tomorrow at Wanganui. Mrs. H. Poulter. of Wellington, manager of the Xpw Zealand team. said. "We hope to win." and Miss K. -I. Warwick, manager of the English team. said. "We hope to repeat our first Te-t success, but realise we are up against strong opposition." Mr<. Cawler. one of tin? reserves in tin." Xew Zealand team, contracted measles, and Mrs. L. Askew, who was sharing a room with her. has been exeluded from thr> party also, for fear of spreading infection among other plavers. Miss M. Simpson (Wellington) has been called on as a replacement. The English team is: (J. Huggin*. M. X. Knott. M. 1".. Collins. E. Fairgriev?, K. Thompson. .1. Lodue. E. Sliclnieraine, V. W. W;-st. .1. F. Wright J. L. O'Donoghtic, •!. E. Howling. The South Island members of the X<?w Zealand team had a rough Cook Strait cvossiuir. but the whole team practised this afternoon. The Xew Zealand team will be chosen from the following: M. Hhind. A. A big crowd in: exjiected by excursion trains from Xew Plymouth. TaihapT , and I'almerston Xorth. Despite the mid-week rain the ground is in good order.
